A SALISBURY woman has celebrated a milestone birthday after turning 107.
Phyllis Haley marked the occasion with a party at her home in Archers Court, Salisbury, alongside her two daughters Barbara and Sue.
Phyllis, known by her friends and family as Phyl, has lived at Archers Court since 1999.
She was married to Colonel Ralph Haley for more than 60 years and, as an army wife, she accompanied him on his postings in the UK and overseas.
They were the last British Army family to leave Egypt in 1956 after the Suez Canal was handed over to civilian administration, and Ralph was then awarded an OBE.
Phyl and Ralph later moved to Yorkshire after his retirement, before settling in the south to be near their two daughters.
