THE Gourmet Grocer in Fordingbridge tried out a different mode of transport to carrying out its weekly deliveries.
Customers had their fruit and vegetables delivered by a horse drawn carriage, courtesy of David Shering.
The carriage carried out deliveries in the town before travelling to Stuckton and Frogham.
Clare Johnston, who runs the business, said: “It was extremely popular and a great success with blistering sunshine to boot. It was a beautiful sight seeing the horses come over the bridge.”
Clare says the business had “tremendous support” from locals and fellow business owners.
