THERE was something for all ages at the country fair in Lover on Saturday.
The event was raising money for the Lover Community Trust which has been set up to support community life in the village.
Nick Gibbs, the chairman of the trust, said the event went “very well”.
There were vintage vehicles on display, a tug of war, a dog show and pets corner, as well as entertainment from local children, an auction, stalls and a picnic.
Even football fans were catered for with a screening of the England v Sweden World Cup game.
Mr Gibbs said: “It was such a lovely day. The village green looked an absolute picture. We had one of our biggest turnouts at the picnic.”
He added: “The organising committee of the fair did a fantastic job this year.”
