I DECIDED to brave the heat yesterday [Sunday] to support the local markets.
There was, I believe, an Artisan Market and a Foodie event.
There were some really good stalls with a fine array of goods.
Unfortunately the music from the Live Band, although great, was far too loud.
I couldn't have a conversation with stall holders without having to shout. It was farcical, and affected me badly as I have a problem with my hearing.
I would have loved to have stayed and purchased items, but had to leave.
I wonder how many other people were put off, and how many stall holders will return next time.
It is sad that events such as these will be lost because there is no-one to care about them.
