THERE was fun for all the family at the annual Appleshaw Fete and Flower Show.
On Bank Holiday Monday, young and old alike descended on the village’s playing field for a host of activities.
During the day there was traditional entertainment from a Punch and Judy show to live music, and even a visit from an array of classic cars.
Locals had also donned their aprons to make cakes and supply food for fete-goers.
And others showcased their hard work in the shape of large vegetables and beautiful bouquets to be in with a chance of winning a rosette.
The four-legged guests were not left out as a dog show gave the furry friends a chance to show off their skills.
