A SING-A-LONG tea party took place this week for the elderly, that left guests feeling "over the moon".
On Wednesday (September 12), around 25 senior residents and carers from the Salisbury community flocked to Fisherton Hall in St Pauls Church to join in with tea, sandwiches and singing along to a variety of songs.
The two- hour tea included live music played from the piano, with seniors encouraged to sing along to their vintage favourites.
Organiser of the event, Donna Provan said:"There's a lot of lonely and isolated people in the community, and I just wanted them to have a bit of fun."
Donna is involved with Abi live-in who have an ethos of supplying one-on-one care to seniors in their own home, so they are comfortable and surrounded by memories while being looked after.
Donna added: "It was a great afternoon, everyone was just so pleased something like this would be put on for them and they would happily go again."
