POLICE were called to Warminster railway station over reports of a man being racially abusive on a train from Salisbury to Cardiff.
The British Transport Police attended the scene and arrested a 54-year-old man from Sidmouth on suspicion of common assault and a public order offence.
He has since been released on police bail to return for a court date at the end of September.
Wiltshire Police also attended the incident but then stood down.
This took place at 10am on Saturday, September 1.
