JOHN Glen used his column (Journal Opinion, September 13) to promote the Treasury's new Help To Save scheme; can he explain why NS&I (National Savings - wholly owned by the government) is reducing the interest rate it offers on some of its products, at the same time that the cost of borrowing is increasing. Seems like heads you lose - and tails you lose too.
