A SALISBURY artist still has a passion for art at the age of 98 and wants to encourage others to explore their creative sides.

Over the years, Lisette Reynolds has built up a beautiful collection of embroidery work and paintings.

“I’ve done it for years,” she said. “Even as a child I did embroidery.

“I don’t do much embroidery because of my eye sight and went back to painting.”

She studied at the Byam Shaw School of Art in London and says she has always loved design and working with colour. Her work is inspired by nature particularly flowers and animals.

“I do enjoy it,” said Lisette. “I would certainly encouraged people to get involved with different art forms.”

She is currently working on an art project for her grandson.
