CENTENARY birthday celebrations were enjoyed by family and friends this month for Catherine 'Kitty' Williams.
Kitty celebrated her 100th birthday on September 8 with her three daughters, four grandchildren, four great grandchildren and many other family members and friends at the Pembroke Arms Hotel in Wilton.
Born in 1918 and bought up in Farley, Kitty moved to Wilton in 1996 and has lived there in her own home since.
Reaching the 100-year-old mark Kitty's daughter, Elizabeth Gulliver, said it is her mother's "interest in everything" that enables her to live such a full life, adding: "She loves people, shopping and going out, she is very interested in everyone and how they are - even asking her carers how their families are.
"She keeps herself active and she is just always happy."
