VENUES across the city will be filled with entertainment as part of the Oxjam Music Festival.

The event kicks-off on Saturday, October 6 with family entertainment from 10am at SP2 Café with the support of St Paul’s Church, there will be arts and crafts, a glitter artist and performances from Starcast.

The charity festival continues with an Acoustic Afternoon at Deacons with performances by Kate and Her Baritone, Heather McCarnun, Common Confusion and Hummingbird.

Also opening at 10am @Home on Bridge Street will be running as a Teen hub for the day with music from performers such as Jess Robyn and Katy Neve.

The Avon Brewery will be jam packed with talent from 6pm, there will be six local performers taking to the stage before headliners Sarum’s Lot take over.

At The Winchester Gate local rock cover group King Louie will be kick starting the evening, followed by Mokono and Mighty Magic Animal. To finish, 10-piece ska band Big Brass Ska will be rocking out the venue.

Then put on your dancing shoes as Oxjam Salisbury finishes the night at The Chapel Nightclub, with DJ Boleyn and Batman Beats.

Oxjam Salisbury is a charity festival raising money for Oxfam, and will be filling six city centre venues with more than 30 performers across 17 hours.

Each venue will also be having a Limited Edition drink, matching the pink/purple colours of Oxjam for every one sold a donation is made to Oxjam Salisbury.
