THERE has been another spate of vandalism in the city caused by projectiles fired from catapults.

The rear windscreen of a parked vehicle was smashed by a ballbearing in Nelson Road on September 24 at about 8.30pm.

And at about 9pm at Five Rivers Health and Wellbeing Centre the rear windscreen of a parked vehicle was damaged. Another vehicle was damaged at the Sea Cadet Hut, Churchill Gardens that evening.

Earlier in the day the windscreen of a moving vehicle was cracked in New Bridge Road at about 6pm.

The following day, in Carmelite Way the windows of two properties were damaged.

The front window of a house was damaged in Suffolk Road. It is believed to have happened in a three week period before September 22.

Previously, seven bus shelters and windows at a school and community centre were damaged in Salisbury by projectiles believed to have been fired from a catapult or BB gun.

The bus shelters were in London Road, Odstock Road, Coombe Road near Woodbury Gardens and Bouverie Avenue, Downton Road, Harnham Road and New Bridge Road. The damage was reported earlier this month.
