THE Salisbury Journal’s job fair returned for the second time of 2018 in September, taking place on Tuesday, 25.
Exhibitors from a range of industries, including education, engineering, training, care, retail and manufacturing, turned out to offer advice to hopefuls looking for a new job or change in career, at the free fair sponsored by Home Bargains.
The event, held in the Guildhall, showcased a variety of jobs to suit a range of skilled and unskilled candidates looking for full or part-time vacancies, permanent or temporary contracts, as well as apprenticeships, courses and career advice.
Event organiser Sue Kennington said: “The Journal Job Fair is an immensely popular event, as recent years have proved.
“Feedback from those at the event was that the quality of applicants and job seekers who came was very high.”
The next job fair takes place in April, and reservations are already being taken.
