A REVAMPED Rockbourne Fair is returning this year, with a new committee in place who believe “it is time to bring something fresh and different” to the event.

All profits from the fair will be donated to the Stars Appeal, raising money for its MRI Scanner campaign.

The annual shopping fair returns to Salisbury Racecourse on Wednesday, October 17, and runs until Friday, October 19.

The fair, which is more than 30-years-old, will have more than 100 stalls, selling gifts, food, home accessories, clothing, jewellery and more from a selection of retailers.

In the run up to Christmas, it is expected to attract people from Wiltshire, Hampshire, Dorset and beyond.

Bev Moulding, the chair of the new organising committee, said: “We hope to build on the success of the previous committee who raised more than £500,000 for the Stars Appeal.

“As well as some of our old favourites returning this year, we hope to bring you an unrivalled boutique shopping experience with many new, exciting stalls with gifts for all ages.

“Come with friends, enjoy lunch in the restaurant – it really does make for a wonderful day out.”

Among the 100 plus stallholders at the fair will be Atelier Chokerbali (jewellery), Connock London (luxury fragrance and skincare products), Montes and Clark (textiles pieces), Black Mountain Smokery (gourmet food), Punica (luxury homewares from around the world) and Boho Betty (boho jewellery and accessories).

The fair will stay open until 7pm on Thursday evening for late night shopping and a Prosecco bar.

There will also be free parking.

Entry is £5, but is reduced to £3 after 4pm on Thursday.
