KATE Edgar is an award winning composer, musical director, director and teacher, and will be giving a talk titled The West End to Wiltshire.
She has worked in both theatre and television. She has written music for five series of the Grandpa In My Pocket which won a BAFTA and has also written the music and lyrics for several of the Salisbury Playhouse pantomimes as well as Christmas shows all over the country.
Kate has also combined her theatre work with teaching including RADA.
As well as writing and teaching, Kate runs four Salisbury-based choirs.
The talk is being given on behalf of Cancer Research UK, Salisbury Fundraising Committee. and is on November 8 at Coombe Bissett village hall, 7pm.
Tickets include a fish and chip supper, ice cream and a glass of wine, and are available from Wilton Hardware, Broadchalke Community Shop and Coombe Bissett Village Stores.
