A THIRTEEN-year-old boy has been charged in connection with a stabbing in Amesbury on Halloween.

The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with wounding with intent and possession of a bladed article.

It is in connection with an incident that took place in Jaggard View, Amesbury, on Wednesday night, where a 15-year-old girl suffered a knife wound to her shoulder.

The girl has since been discharged from hospital.

The boy has been remanded in custody overnight and is due to appear at Swindon Magistrates Court later today.
