ON his last day in Command of the Royal Tank Regiment, Lieutenant Colonel Simon Ridgway was dragged from the parade square, carried out on to Salisbury plain and baptised in true Tanky fashion.
On parade Regimental Sergeant Major Upham praised him for his leadership, the genuine care he shows for his soldiers and the remarkable impact he has had on The Royal Tank Regiment.
