PIZZA Hut will be running a one time exclusive evening buffet at Pizza Hut Salisbury for the Christmas lights switch on Thursday November 15.

A spokesperson fro Pizza Hut said: "This is very exciting as this will help our locals come out for a family meal and cut out the waiting time they would usually get in a restaurant.

"We're pretty famous for our Unlimited Lunchtime Pizza, Pasta and Salad Buffet.

"But at your local Hut we're breaking the rules with a one time exclusive Evening Buffet to warm up our locals for the Christmas Lights Switch on.

"5pm-9pm Thursday 15th November help yourself to selections from a range of Pizzas Including Marghertia, Veggie, BBQ Americano, Pepperoni, Hawaiian and a whole lot more as well as Unlimited Pasta and Salad.

"If you fancy a bit on the side, get Buffet exclusive prices on a whole bunch of our sides like Chicken Wings, Jalapeno Poppers, Fries ,Onion Rings and Garlic Bread".

Salisbury City Council has announced on Monday (November 12) that the Christmas lights will be switched on by athlete Colin Jackson.

Colin made his career as a sprint and hurdling athlete, setting world records and winning a silver Olympic medal in 1988.

He now works as a broadcaster with BBC Athletics, and has covered major sporting events including the London Olympic Games in 2012, the Rio Games in 2016 and the 2017 World Championships.

The Christmas Lights Switch On event will take place on Thursday (November 15) from 6pm until 8pm in Salisbury Market Place.
