STAFF at Dogs Trust Salisbury are preparing for its annual Christmas fair on Sunday November 25 and are encouraging local people to come along and join in the festive fun.

The fair will be taking place at the Rehoming Centre in Newton Tony from 11am to 2pm, and promises to be a great day out for all the family, with four-legged friends invited to join in the fun too.

The day include a grand raffle, tombola and craft stalls and guests will also have the chance to do some Christmas shopping with stalls selling stocking fillers, gifts, treats, Dogs Trust merchandise and Christmas cards.

Christmas-themed refreshments will also be available.

Dogs Trust Salisbury Supporter Relations Officer, Lucy Hooper, said: “Our Christmas fair is always a wonderful occasion.

"This year promises to be a fantastic day out for all the family, including the pooches.

"All the money raised, will go directly to caring for the dogs in our care so it’s a wonderful way to raise pounds for homeless hounds whilst getting into the Christmas spirit.”

Staff at Dogs Trust Salisbury are also calling on local people and businesses to donate prizes for the Grand Raffle and tombola by November 23.

Previous year’s prizes have included bottles of champagne, vouchers and Christmas hampers.
