TWO "unique" elephant statues have been stolen from a garden in Broad Chalke.
The large bronze statues were taken on Friday (November 16) in Knighton Road.
PC Graham Briant said: "These elephants are of great sentimental value and have been in the owner's garden for 11 years. They are unique statues and no doubt worth a lot of money.
"The owner is desperate to have them returned safely - the statues weigh around 50lb each and are approximately 2ft by 6ft. It is likely there would have been more than one person involved in removing them.
"If you have any information, if you have seen the elephants for sale, or know where they may be, please get in touch via 101 and quote crime reference number 54180109242."
Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
