The newly trained PUMA teams in California
SOLDIERS from 32 Regiment, Royal Artillery have been deployed to Camp Roberts in California to undergo training on a new Unmanned Aerial System, PUMA.
Puma is a small, battery powered, American hand-launched, unmanned aircraft system produced by AeroVironment based in California and was designed to meet the requirements of US Special Operations Command
Its primary mission is surveillance and intelligence gathering using an electro-optical and infrared camera.
The crews are now Combat Ready, adding a new capability for Field Army Force Development.
