KNOWN for bringing many different characters to life, Guy Masterson brings Dickens’ classic A Christmas Carol to Salisbury Playhouse in a one-man show this festive season.

A veteran of solo shows including Under Milk Wood and Animal Farm, which were recent sell-outs at Salisbury Playhouse, Masterson recreates Scrooge, Marley, the Fezziwigs, Tiny Tim and more in his own style.

Masterson won an Olivier award for Morecambe in 2010 and he is the most successful and award-winning independent theatre producer at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, having presented more than 120 shows there in 23 years.

It runs from Tuesday, December 18 until Saturday 22 in The Salberg.

Tickets to A Christmas Carol can be booked by calling the box office on 01722 320333 or by visiting wiltshirecreative.co.uk

Another festive show coming up at the Playhouse is The Night Before Christmas. The musical is by Glyn Kerslake and Wiltshire Creative artistic director Gareth Machin. It runs from Monday, December 10 until Sunday 30.
