GUITARIST Rob Johnson is coming to Salisbury to raise money for a “worthwhile” charity.
The performance on Saturday (December 1), 7.30pm, is raising money for Salisbury Trust For the Homeless (STFH).
Rob will be showcasing his unique playing style, which blends classical, world and folk influences, at The Quaker Meeting House, 51 Wilton Road.
He said: “STFH does a wonderful job helping homeless people get back to independent living and has very high success rate so I am delighted to raise funds for such a worthwhile charity. I have played at Salisbury Folk Festival and Salisbury Arts Centre and it is always a pleasure to come back to the city.”
Gordon Pardy, the head of fundraising for STFH, said: “We are very grateful to Rob for doing this as we are heavily dependent on local fund-raising events to keep going financially. He is a wonderful guitarist so everyone who comes along to The Quaker Meeting House is in for a very special evening.”
