A MAN was left needing surgery and with a broken jaw after being punched in a pub garden in Tidworth.
The assault happened between 10.30pm and 11.30pm on Friday, November 30, in the outdoor area of The Ram pub in Pennings Road.
The victim, a man in his 20s, was punched to the face, suffering a broken jaw which has required surgery.
Police have today (Monday) released CCTV images of three men they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.
DC Andrew Tearle, from Salisbury CID, said: "We have been carrying out detailed enquiries since this was reported to us and we have now obtained CCTV footage which shows the events building up to the assault.
"We have released images of three people we would like to speak to in connection with the incident. I would like to stress that these people may be witnesses or may have information which can help us understand more about what happened.
"If you are one of those men in the pictures, or you recognise them, then please contact police urgently."
