TWO handbags were stolen after cars belonging to nurses were broken into in Salisbury.
On Wednesday, November 28, at around 7.30pm, a parked Citroen Saxo and a Ford Fiesta were broken into in Downsway, as the nurses were away from their vehicles supporting an elderly person.
Windows on both cars were smashed and handbags were stolen from both.
One handbag was found discarded near the end of Downsway on the junction of Balmoral Road, and another at Victoria Park.
PC Martyn Powell said: "These vehicles belong to two community care nurses, who were providing support to an elderly person at the time of the incident.
"Enquiries have been ongoing but I'd like to ask anyone who was in the area of Downsway, Balmoral Road or Victoria Park, at around 7.30pm on November 28, who may have seen someone acting suspiciously to get in touch."
If anyone has any further information call 101 and quote crime reference number 54180113008 or 54180112996.
