Was it necessary to employ such heavy handed security staff at the Christmas ice rink area?

Their over-the-top attitude and treatment of the youngsters recently was very uncalled for at this time of goodwill.

And also what has become of the rough sleepers/homeless - have they been driven from view or actually helped into accommodation?

Would not a field kitchen set up in the market square offering hot meals be a Christian gesture, rather than the grotty Christmas market sheds and the tacky Christmas decorations displayed, which epitomised the fake commercialised Christmas 'goodwill' in our supposed Christian city.
