THE young members of Studio Theatre in Salisbury have been brushing up on their swashbuckling skills as they prepare for their latest production.
Treasure Island runs at the theatre, which is located in Ashley Road, from January 21-26, 7.30pm.
The youth theatre members have been busy rehearsing after their sell-out production of Les Miserables (School Edition) last year.
The actors, aged between 11 and 18 years old, have been busy since September learning fighting techniques, and fine-tuning their swashbuckling.
Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson, adapted by Ken Ludwig, is directed by Peter McAuley.
The young actors/singers will be joining Collabro, the winners of Britain’s Got Talent, at the City Hall on Thursday, April 11 after a successful video audition.
Tickets are available from Salisbury Information Centre, by calling 01722 342860 or going to ticketsource.co.uk/studiotheatresalisbury. A special display has been created at the information centre to celebrate the production.
