SALISBURY Arts Centre has announced its packed programme for spring 2019.
The line-up includes 5 Soldiers from Rosie Kay Dance Company, which features a serving soldier, and an evening of the best of the Birmingham European (BE) Festival.
Visual arts at Salisbury Arts Centre includes a focus on the work of theatre and film costume designer Deirdre Steer, the winner of a Bafta for her Mrs Brown costume designs.
The arts centre has already started presenting its expanding film programme which includes regular Wednesday matinee screenings of classics. Cinema Paradiso is the latest big screening offering on Wednesday.
The cinematic offerings continue on Wednesday evenings. Forthcoming screenings include The Children Act, Now Voyager, Bohemian Rhapsody, The Iron Lady, Mary Magdalene, Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, The Favourite, Peterloo, and Disney’s Mary Poppins Returns.

Music at Salisbury Arts Centre includes a new show from Wiltshire-based folk musician Nick Harper (March 16) and live lunches from local groups including Girls Only Jazz Orchestra (GOJO) and Salisbury Ukulele Band.
Traditional Irish folk singer Cara Dillon takes to the stage on April 27.
Composer and musician Jim Carey and his band the Saboteurs perform an evening of songs originally written for Kneehigh Theatre, in Riots and Lobsters on May 4..
And Yorke Dance Project celebrate the past and the present in YDP20 as it marks its 20th anniversary (April 6).
Audiences can enjoy a medley of circus, theatre and illusion, for one night only, at the Best of the BE Festival on March 15.
Comedy at Salisbury Arts Centre comes from stand-ups including former Detective Sergeant Alfie Moore with his show Getting Away with Murder on February 8 and Stuart Goldsmith with End Of on April 13.
Theatre at Salisbury Arts Centre includes Frozen Light returning to the venue with The Isle of Brimsker - a multi-sensory for audiences with learning disabilities.
The arts centre is part of Wiltshire Creative, which also brings together Salisbury Playhouse and Salisbury International Arts Festival, which returns later this year.
Wiltshire Creative artistic director Gareth Machin said: “Our second season of work as Wiltshire Creative demonstrates once more the vitality and vibrancy of a cultural offer which annually draws tens of thousands of visitors into Salisbury. Across our two venues, a diverse and inclusive pan-arts programme offers something for everyone, placing culture right at the heart of our wonderful city.”
