STUDENTS at a Salisbury College were able to learn a range of skills from the Royal Signals last week.
On Tuesday 15 and Wednesday 16, the Army's professional communicators and members of the team were working with students at the South Wiltshire University Technical College, on Wilton Road.
Tasks included an escape room, which involved code breaking, technical puzzles, encryption and decryption, logic puzzles and networking, as well as a cyber challenge, with five initial tasks including tracking, decoding and information analysis,
Principal Joe Mulligan said: "We are delighted the Royal Signals visited the school.
"We have strong links with the military and our students learnt some invaluable skills where they [were able to] use their science and maths based learning.”
