CHILDREN will be able to explore the wonders of the great outdoors as Fordingbridge Day Nursery opens its own forest preschool, Fordingbridge Foresters.
At the North Gorley site the children will be able to enjoy a variety of activities including wild cooking, whittling and den building as well as feeding the animals. Indoor playtime is in a purpose built log cabin.
A spokesman for the day nursery said: “Our little foresters will be building fires, toasting marshmallows, ‘wand’ wittling, bug hunting, den building, tree climbing and much more, all in the back garden of the New Forest in North Gorley,
