A HEAVY police presence was spotted outside Debenhams in Salisbury City Centre.
Yesterday (February 6), two police cars and a police van were stationed outside the store in Blue Boar Row.
And a witness told the Journal someone was wrestled to the ground by members of security.
Wiltshire Police received reports of a shoplifter at Debenhams at around 4.40pm.
A statment from the police said: "There was reported to have been a struggle. When challenged, the man handed over the goods and will be dealt with by a fixed penalty notice."
