HISTORY was brought to life for pupils at Fordingbridge Junior School.
The children were joined by Tree House Theatre and were able to create a play all about how the Romans invaded in Britain.
They were given parts in the play to act out and say lines.
There were elephants, wolves, Emperors, a Roman army, a Scottish Army and slaves to name but a few.
A spokesman for the school said: “The children learnt a plethora of history, which will be explored in more detail in the days to come.
“Never in one performance did we see so many children perform spectacular deaths - the grizzly bear was particularly good.”
