JACK Savoretti, Gomez, KT Tunstall, Kate Tempest, The Cat Empire and The Shires are just some of the names featuring in the line-up for this year's Larmer Tree Festival.

The festival takes place in Larmer Tree Gardens, which is in the Cranborne Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, from July 18-21.

Acclaimed London rapper and poet Kate Tempest tops the bill and singer-songwriter Jack Savoretti will bring his new album Singing To Strangers to the main stage, fresh from a UK tour.

Australia’s The Cat Empire will captivate audiences with their mix of alt-rock, jazz and ska.

Southport’s indie-rock veterans Gomez join the bill. Completing the 2019 headliners are the UK's biggest-selling country music act The Shires and Scottish songstress KT Tunstall - marking a return to Larmer Tree after her last appearance in 2013.

Other acts performing include Let’s Eat Grandma, GoGo Penguin, Ezra Collective, Melt Yourself Down, Flamingods, BC Camplight and The Wave Pictures, and Tank and the Bangas.

This year's festival also sees the addition of the first festival cinema tent, showing everything from retro comedy classics to indie gems.

Plus, due to popular demand, the much-loved Carnival will return - offering Larmer Tree audiences of all ages an unmissable opportunity to take part in the weekend’s action.

The full music lineup, plus the comedy, cinema, kids, theatre and literary programmes will be announced later this year.
