The Civil Servants experience the Warrior Infantry Fighting Vehicle
LAST week, Bulford-based 5 RIFLES hosted a group of civil servants from HQ 3 (UK) Division, Force Troops Command, 12 Armoured Infantry Brigade and 1 Artillery Brigade for an armoured infantry experience.
The visit involved a familiarisation shoot on the SA80, a ride in a Warrior Armoured Fighting Vehicle and a spot of lunch in the Officers’ Mess. It was a fantastic insight for the civil servants, giving them the opportunity to interact with the soldiers and equipment they manage.
