JIGSAW puzzles were at the heart of a special three-day festival held in Fordingbridge.
The Jigsaw Puzzle Festival took place from Saturday to Monday and was in aid of Fordingbridge Community First Responders (FCFR) who are currently fundraising for a liveried car. Community first responders are unpaid volunteers who give their time freely to help save lives in their community. They are trained by South Central Ambulance Service in basic life support, the use of automated external defibrillators and the treatment of a range of potentially life-threatening conditions.
About 1,000 puzzles filled St Mary's Church and in the region of 600 visitors attended the event.
Half the proceeds from the sale of puzzles will be donated to FCFR. The amount raised is still to be confirmed.
The event was organised by Viv Finch and Judith Dowsett and visitors of all ages.
Judith said: "It went very well. It was very successful."
