A round-up of recent cases from Salisbury magistrates' court:

DEAN BRECKON, aged 21, of Whitehays Road, Christchurch, was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £120 and ordered to pay £115 costs for driving without the correct licence and insurance in Wilton Road, Salisbury, on September 29.

DEAN GUEST, aged 24, of Peters Close, Poole, received six points on his licence, was fined £184 and must pay £115 costs for driving without due care and attention in Fisherton Street on July 14.

JOANNA WELCH, aged 35, of Hayter Gardens, Romsey, received six points on her licence, was fined £430 and must pay £128 costs for driving over the legal speed limit in Netherhampton Road, Salisbury, on October 10.

ROGER STOKES, aged 70, of Winterslow Road, Porton, must complete 120 hours of unpaid work, had a restraining order made against him, must pay £700 compensation and £705 costs for assaulting a woman in Salisbury on May 24.

SEAN BALES-SMITH, aged 39, of Hazel Close, Salisbury, must pay compensation of £320 after stealing knives and a saucepan from Waitrose, Salisbury, on October 23, and clothes from Matalan on November 12.

FIONA CREW, aged 48, of Avon Meade, Fordingbridge, was fined £70 and must pay £650 costs for stealing from the Co-Op in Downton on June 29.

EMILY CHAMPION, aged 33, of Trinity Street, Salisbury, must pay £24.98 compensation and £25 costs for stealing two bottles of vodka from Waitrose in Salisbury on September 3.

SANDILE MDLULI, aged 26, of Brighton Road, Worthing, was banned from driving for 16 months, fined £30 and must pay £115 costs for driving while over the legal alcohol limit in Boscombe Hill, Amesbury, on February 22.

THOMAS WILLIS, also known as PAUL BUNDY, aged 37, of Pilgrims Way, Andover, was fined £215, had a restraining order made against him, and must pay £115 costs for harassing a woman in Salisbury through phone calls and social media between February 19 and 26.

DANNY TURVER, aged 27, of Andover Road, Ludgershall, was fined £100, given a restraining order and ordered to pay £185 costs for inciting a child to run away on November 6 at Ludgershall.
