IT'S the end of term, and the kids are home from school. But the question remains: How to keep them entertained?

But, fear not! We at the Journal have complied a handy list of our favourite nine (yes, nine) things to do over the Easter period.

  • SALISBURY BID is running an Easter Trail during the school holidays to encourage additional footfall and spend in the city.

Twelve businesses spread across the city centre form the trail. The trail allows visitors to explore areas of the city they wouldn't necessarily go to.

The Salisbury Easter Trail runs during the school holidays from Saturday April 6, until Monday April 22, to give families an additional reason to come into the city centre.

This year's trail is horse themed, as the trail has been kindly sponsored by Salisbury Racecourse.

Find out more here.

Between April 6 and Monday April 22, get the whole family together and take on the challenge of the Salisbury Easter Trail stopping at Well Natural, Cross Keys Arcade.

Look out for the horses in the windows of businesses that are marked on the trail map.

There may even be an edible Easter treat inside the businesses for trail-goers.

There is also the free Face Painting Fairie at Cross Keys on Saturday April 20, between 10am and 3pm.

  • EASTER at the Museum - Monday, April 8, to Monday April 22.
