A SALISBURY coffee shop has reopened its doors and hopes to create a space to bring the community together.
Coffee Lab in Blue Boar Row closed back in September but is back after a refurbishment.
Manager James Pearce said: "I want to bring a bit more community back. It is definitely something we need. I want this to be a space where people can meet and be together."
The long closure, James says, was mainly as a result of the nerve agent attack last year which saw business "slow down".
Since reopening on Monday, he says the response from customers has been positive, adding: "It is really nice to see Salisbury happy and to have us open again.
"Business has been fairly steady and we have had a lot of the regulars back.
"Everyone is happy we are open again."
James, with the help of his family, has been giving the interior a touch of tender loving care, including freshening up the paint.
He is coming up with ideas to take the business forward and hopes to bring something "unique" and "new" to the city.
Coffee Lab also has branches in Winchester, Stockbridge and Southampton.
