A TIDWORTH children's centre was given around 70 Easter eggs last week, by a bear wearing a hard hat and high vis jacket.
On Friday (April 12), the mascot from building company Novus Property Solutions, Novus bear, went to Windmill Hill Children’s Centre to give the children chocolate treats in time for Easter and launch an egg hunt.
Ran by Spurgeons Children's Charity, the centre is part of the charity's service to help vulnerable children and families overcome social challenges.
Georgia Edwards, contract liaison officer at Novus, said Spurgeons was chosen to be visited by the bear for its "incredible work" with children, adding: "We hope that the Easter eggs will be enjoyed by the children and their families across Wiltshire.”
Dominic Jones, children’s service lead for Spurgeons, added: “We’re grateful to Novus for this generous donation, which will bring a real Easter treat to the children and families we work with.”
