LAST week the Defence Secretary, Gavin Williamson, visited Salisbury Plain Training Area and watched an exercise conducted by troops from 4 SCOTS, 1 Military Police Brigade with support from the Army Air Corps, in which they demonstrated how the British Army protect civilians in a conflict zone.
Cpl Warren, of 110 Provost Company, was integrated into a 4 SCOTS Human Security demonstration, delivering the only female searcher capability
For the RMP this included supporting investigations, delivering training and raising awareness of treatment of allegations of Conflict Related Sexual Violence.
Mr Williamson then announced that there will be a new centre of excellence that will build on the success of the Human Security Advisers course and deliver expanded training on Women, Peace and Security, Children and Armed Conflict, Human Trafficking, Protection of Civilians, Sexual Exploitation and Abuse and Cultural Property Protection.
