POLICE are hunting for a man after he assaulted a stranger in a random city attack.
Taking place at approximately 6pm on April 20, the 6ft 2 inches tall "muscly" suspect attacked a 43-year-old man at the corner of Marlborough Road and Hamilton Road in Salisbury.
Wiltshire Police is now asking witnesses to come forward.
The force says the victim was approached by the man, who was not known to him, before he was punched in the face, causing pain and reddening to his eyes.
The suspect is described as white, with short blonde hair, and was wearing jeans.
An area search was carried out in the area following the report of the incident but the offender was not located.
House to house enquiries have also been carried out.
