SCORES of locals came out to celebrate St George's Day in Salisbury on Saturday.
The city hosted medieval workshops, Morris dancing and puppet shows.
Organised by Salisbury City Council, the event took place at the Guildhall and Guildhall Square.
Mayor of Salisbury, Mike Osment was very pleased with the day and said: “Our St Georges Day celebrations were a real triumph this year.
"Following the opening Parade there were over 7 free children’s activities along with a very tempting selection of food vendors and shopping opportunities.
"It was very well attended and I was delighted to see smiling faces everywhere."
