POLICE officers teamed up with two government departments today to carry out commercial vehicle checks on a main road.
HM Revenue and Customs and the Driving and Vehicle Standards Agency checked vehicles using the A36, Salisbury Road, at Plaitford Village Hall.
PCSO Sanders of Hampshire Police said: "We are checking if the commercial vehicles have insurance and if any of them are using red diesel fuel, which is mainly used for tractors."
