WILTSHIRE Police is appealing for information regarding a "serious collision" that occurred around 30 years ago.

Officers say that a the incident – between a pedestrian and a vehicle – happened on Duck Lane in Laverstock between the late 1970’s and early 1980’s.

The appeal reads: "We have been given information about a serious collision in the area of Duck Lane, Laverstock. The collision is reported to have occurred in the late 1970’s / early 1980’s involving a pedestrian and a vehicle.

"At this stage it would be inappropriate for us to provide any further information.

"We would like to hear from anyone who was living in the area at the time and recalls such an incident. "
