A WOMAN was threatened by a man wielding a small knife in an attempted robbery at the weekend.

The 37-year-old woman, from the local area, was walking on the footpath between St George's Church, towards Netherhampton Road, in Harnham, Salisbury, around 11pm, when the attempt took place.

Salisbury Journal:

An e-fit has been released of the man, who is described as white, approximately 5ft 8in, slim build, aged in his late teens to early 20s, with strawberry blonde hair.

He was wearing a faded/worn black hoodie which had a large front pocket.

The victim was approached by a person, matching the e-fit, who demanded that she hand over money while he was holding a small knife.

Fortunately the victim was able to get away unharmed and the suspect ran off towards Town Path empty handed.
