A MAN had to be taken to hospital after being hit by a car - and the driver didn't even stop.
Now police are hunting for the motorist following the incident yesterday in Mildenhall.
Wiltshire Police says the hit-and-run occurred at the cross junction of Berry Cottages and Home Farm Road at around 10.40am.
A silver/grey saloon-style vehicle hit a pedestrian and failed to stop and check the welfare of the injured man.
The victim, aged in his 50's, suffered a suspected fractured ankle and was later taken to Great Western Hospital.
Officers say the details of the vehicle and driver are unknown, but it is suspected that the driver’s side wing mirror sustained damage as a result of the crash.
