A WOMAN in her 30s was sexually assaulted by a man in Salisbury.
Police say the incident happened in Hudson's Field, Castle Road, just after midnight today (Sunday, May 19).
Officers in Salisbury CID are appealing for the public’s help in identifying a man they would like to speak to.
The man is described as white, aged in his early 20s, approximately 5 ft 10 to 6ft tall and of skinny build.
He had sandy blonde coloured short hair, with no facial hair. He was wearing a light maroon coloured hoodie.
Detective Sergeant Eirin Martin said: “We are really keen to hear from anyone who may know who this man is – we have been given a good description by the victim so we are hopeful that someone may be able to help.
“The victim in this case is being supported by specialist officers and our enquiries are continuing today.
“We believe the offender may have been in the Hudson's Field, Castle Road area, both last night and the previous night at a similar time so we are asking anyone who was in the area either on foot, or anyone who was driving past and may have dash cam fitted to their vehicle between midnight and 12.30am this morning, to get in touch as you could have unknowingly captured footage of the man we would like to speak to.”
