AN EFIT image has been released by police after a woman was sexual assaulted in Salisbury has been released today.

Officers were called to Hudson’s Field in Castle Road just after midnight yesterday (Sunday, May 19) after a woman in her 30s was sexually assaulted by a man.

Specialist officers have been supporting the woman and have worked with her to create an Efit image of the suspect.

He is described as white, aged in his early 20s, approximately 5 ft 10 to 6ft tall and of skinny build. He had sandy blonde coloured short hair, with no facial hair. He was wearing a light maroon coloured hoodie.

Detective Sergeant Jonathan Davies-Bateman, from Salisbury CID, said: “We have been carrying out a detailed investigation and are hoping this image will help prompt someone’s memory.

“Did you see someone matching this description in the area at the time? Or perhaps you know someone who looks like this who has been acting suspiciously since the incident?

“If you have any information, no matter how small or unimportant you think it might be, please call us.”
