A TEENAGER was grabbed by the wrist in Amesbury as his phone was smashed, causing £900 worth of damage.
On Tuesday, a 15-year-old and his group of friends were approached by a man at the junction with London Road and Holders Road, where a man grabbed the teenager's wrist and smashed his phone to the ground.
The screen and camera of the iPhone XR was smashed but the incident was caught on camera, and the suspect has now been identified.
PC Emma Smith, from Community Policing Team 4, said: "Because of the quality of the image and the distinctive clothing we are hopeful that someone knows who this person is.
"The behaviour this person displayed towards a young boy, and the subsequent intimidation of him alongside the considerable damage caused to his property, isn't acceptable at all."
