All the information you need is available online, either on the Wiltshire Council website, or the Armed Forces Day Facebook and Twitter pages for up to date information.

Some FAQs:

  • The parade will start at roughly 9:45am, and is due to finish at 11.30am, with events at Hudson’s Field starting at midday, so you should have time to get between the two if you wish to.
  • The advice is to leave your car at home wherever possible, and to use alternative methods, including park and ride and public transport.
  • To find a full list of park and ride sites, including bus times, visit the Salisbury Reds website .
  • Buses will not be able to use their normal city centre bus stops and so until 2pm, all bus services will run instead to/from the Coach Station off Castle Street.
  • Shuttle buses to Hudson’s Field will operate from outside the Boathouse Restaurant in the neighbouring coach park.
